- Medisaver is not a Hmo or medical insurance
- Centers associated with Medisaver are privately owned centers
- List of doctors includes the physicians name , address , telephone number , and field of practice
- Members receive a list of prices and list of medical centers upon signing up. Appointments are the members responsibility ( medisaver is always available to assist in appointment but we prefer members make appointment directly with doctor considering medisaver has no knowledge of the doctors schedule and could not accurately inform you when the doctor is available. )
- Medisaver members will only receive discounts with centers/doctors associated with medisaver
- Prices on some services may vary
- Members must show medisaver card or yellow contract to doctors office to show that you are a active member
- Any problems with service should be directly addressed to the medisaver office so we are able to assist you and resolve the situation in a timely manner
- Any malpractice is the sole responsibility of the doctor not medisaver
- At the current moment we have no emergency care and mainly deal with preventive care.( We do have urgent care centers enlisted but in case of a true emergency please dial 911 )
- Some specialist require referrals from general doctor.
- Each medisaver member will have their own individual membership number to verify thier membership
